The young billionaire Mark Zuckerberg is planning to announce a cash donation to Newark, New Jersey, within this week to improve the worse performing school on New York.
Newark school allocates about $22,000 per year and per student. Newark have about 40,000 students but only around 50% of that are graduating. And even if they did graduate, only about 20% of that students are able to enter a 4 year degree collage course. So in calculation, about 85% of the students in Newark needs make-up class on both Math and English.
Mark Zuckerberg have a passion for teaching and education, he confronted a couple education related people and even talked with the mayor of Newark ( Cory Booker ) and talked about developing the education on Newark.
Zuckenberg have donated tons already that the public people don't know, this is far the biggest amount that he will donate.
